Conceived as a venue for production services tenants in the hospitality market, Kaizen River is home to a variety of breweries and wineries. Located on the edge of an industrial park development, the structure features pedestrian-friendly elements to engage the streetscape and invite customers inside. The exterior design features a deep front overhang, exposing the steel structural frame of the prefabricated metal building. Perforated metal siding wraps up and over the exposed steel frame, creating a sheltering shade canopy at the entries. The traditional gable form responds to the agricultural vernacular of the area and provides a welcoming area to gather.
